Great Brink has been privileged to work on several Diageo brands recently including the launch of Haig Club™ with David Beckham and Simon Fuller. Haig Club™ is a new innovation from the House of Haig, Scotland’s oldest grain whisky dynasty. With over 400 years of distilling history, the House of Haig can trace its whisky producing roots back to the seventeenth century. Haig Club™ has been crafted using a unique process that combines grain whisky from three cask types.
Multiple films were shot for the global market in several different Scottish locations. David Beckham delivered ‘The Toast’ to close friends and family in the dining room of the Grade A Listed Georgian mansion, Gilmerton House in East Lothian, where close friends and family along with special guests were invited to celebrate the launch.
Great Brink also built the set for the launch advert of Haig Club™ in Malaysia with Jimmy Choo. We recreated an area of whisky dunnage with barrels stacked 3 high, an area for the coopers and an whisky tasting area for David Beckham and his guests. The quality of the materials for the set reflected the luxury of the Haig Club™ brand.
